What makes BioVate packaging green?

Post Consumer Recycled Plastic (PCR)

All BioVate packing contains 30% PCR plastic which reduces the CO2/per kg from 1.89 for 100% Virgin Plastic to 0.56% for 30% PCR concentrate, more than 60% reduction.

In the absence of a full life cycle assessment comparing 100% PCR vs 30% PCR content, BioVate have elected to use 30% PCR to ensure that the lifecycle of being able to introduce virgin plastic into the recycling process remains intact and as plastic is only recyclable up to 10 times, that new content is continually added.​

BioVate trigger heads have no metal spring, use 30% PCR plastic and are fully recyclable.
