Toast 4

We are over the moon to have been awarded as the winner for the 2016 Toast of Surrey Business Awards in the category for Businesses up to £5m.

The team were in high spirits just being a finalist of this category but when we won, the roof got taken off!

This award completes the hat trick for Source at these awards which is incredibly humbling. The awards plot our journey over the last 5 years and to be recognised in such a highly scrutinized competition and category is the biggest recognition of our team’s hard work and passion for the business.

  1. 2012 – Business up to £1m
  2. 2013 – Director of the Year
  3. 2016 – Business up to £5m

This award is especially rewarding as the judging criteria took into account much more than the usual business growth stories. Whilst this was a factor, our overall approach to building a business was the reason why we stood out.

Dan May, Judge for the category, elaborates on their decision;

In judging the 2016 Toast of Surrey Awards, we were looking for businesses that had not only shown growth and success over the last couple of years, but that also had a clear plan for how they were going to continue that success.

We were looking for business that were at the heart of the Surrey business community and that understood the importance of their social responsibilities. Finally we were looking for businesses that had genuinely strived to be positive employers, creating an environment where staff could thrive and where the team could directly impact on the success of the organisation.

Source Supplies demonstrated this in spades. They have a really special culture which all the staff fully buy in to, they are absolutely committed to their clients. They are entrepreneurial and show a strong record of innovation. They are one of the jewels in the Surrey Business crown!

From Dave and Ollie, to all Team Source, THANK YOU for making the business what it is. We couldn’t do it without you!
