Source Customer Question

This week’s Source Customer Question is submitted by Jason;

Can you apply floor polish to a non-slip ‘Altro’ floor?

The short and long answer to this no.

Why?

Adding polish to a non-slip floor would invalidate any non-slip properties that the manufacturer claims the floor has.

Especially if we’re talking about a kitchen floor as they get wet and this would be very slippery!

Solution

We recommend using a water based chemical with added water soluble solvent. Selden’s Strongarm is fanatstic on non-slip floors as it helps lift the dirt out of the microscopic pores in non-slip floors.

Application is straight forward providing you are prepared to manually or mechanically scrub the floor and efficiently collect all the dirty water.
